Is TravelMap free?
Yes. Planning, maps, collaboration, budgets and splitting costs, offline use, dark mode, and PDF and calendar export are free for good. Pro adds unlimited AI, the route optimiser, Google Maps export and a few more extras.
Does everyone in the group need to pay?
No. One Group Pro subscription unlocks Pro for every person on every trip the subscriber owns or joins. Your friends never need their own.
Do my friends need an account?
To see the plan, no: a view-only link works for anyone. To edit, vote or comment, they make a free account in under a minute.
Does it work without mobile data?
Open a trip once and it stays on your phone. You can keep editing on a ferry with no signal, and changes sync when you are back online.
Where does the place information come from?
From OpenStreetMap, Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons, with sources shown on every place. TravelMap never shows invented ratings or reviews.
What happens if Pro ends?
Nothing is hidden or locked. Your trips, notes, budgets and files stay exactly as they are; only Pro actions, like running the optimiser again, stop.
